ABOUT THE AUTHOR

New author  and Baton Rouge, La native Jennifer 'Je' Wilford introduces a
heartfelt true story that will capture your attention and touch your heart
from the very beginning.  In an attempt of self-searching, Jennifer surveyed
several higher educational programs to assist in identifying her skills.
Wanting to follow in her cousin's, Dr. Michael K. Butler, footsteps, she
peaked an interest in medicine. She continued to pursue that dream in
high school by enrolling in the medical program at Belaire High School in
1988. After graduating in 1992, kindling latent artistic talents, Je's interests
turned to the field of architectural design while attending Southern
University in Baton Rouge. Still trying to find her niche, she pursued other
venues, such as pharmacy and law enforcement, until she was
re-introduced in 2006 to her first love, which is design.

Nevertheless, the gift of graphic design did not occur overnight.  Jennifer
began drawing at the tender age of 7 and designed her first T-Shirt at the
age of 10.  Inspired by God and using the talents that He had given her,
she took a leap of faith and became the sole owner of Je'Designs, a
freelance design and promotional company.

Je' always had a mature level of thinking and writing, but it wasn't until the
sudden death of her mother and father, that she picked up the pen to write
again.  Not knowing any other way to cope with their deaths; she
acknowledges God as being her source of strength, enabling her  to write
through her pain. She has stated on several occasions, that God gave her
the title,
"Blessed Therapy".

" My mother taught me at an early age that anytime you want something
in your life to prosper, you must keep God first.  I have always considered
it to be a blessing to be able to help others with their problems by simply
listening to them and telling them about the changes that I have been
through in my life.  It helped them, but it was my therapy".

After living an alternative lifestyle for 18yrs, Je'  decided to walk away and
give her life back to Christ.  She states,

" It has been a difficult road, but there is no situation that I can't
overcome, as long as God is with me. I want to see Jesus when I leave
this world someday, and I want to see my parents again, too. I've learned
in life that you will always fear what you don't know. This time, I turned
fear, into Faith and I let God lead the way".

Jennifer currently resides in Dallas, Texas and is a member of the
Friendship West Baptist Church under the leadership of
Dr. Frederick D. Haynes III.
